Selecting Multiple Emails - Selecting Single Emails - Viewing Quarantined Emails

Quarantine contains a list of unknown senders emails. These emails will be deleted after the number of days set in System Settings, the emails held in this 'holding area' until you decide to allow or ban them, if allowed you will automatically get the email in your inbox next time they email you or if banned there next email will automatically go to the trash folder. To set the rules for this sender select the email by checking its box and choose and action to perform from the list.

The selected email are to be:

performs one of the actions in the drop down list on selected emails. Select an email by click the box, this can be one or more emails.

• Left in Quarantine

Does nothing. ( The default action )

• Allowed once

The email is moved from Quarantine to your inbox ( you may have to press Send/Receive to see it ). The senders address is not added to the Allowed Addresses and further emails from this sender will still go to Quarantine.

• Always Allowed

The email is moved from Quarantine to your inbox ( you may have to press Send/Receive to see it ). The senders address is added to the Allowed Addresses so you will now get subsequent emails from the sender automatically.

Spam Container will ask if you want to add all email addresses from this domain to you Allowed Addresses list, this means that if anyone from the email domain send you an email it will be allowed into your inbox. if No is selected then the email address of the sender is added to the allowed list and this will be the only sender from this email domain that can send you email.

• Moved to Trash

The selected email will be moved to trash and deleted after the preset number of days. The sender will not be added to your banned Addresses list and all subsequent emails from this sender will still go into your quarantine folder.

• Banned and moved to Trash

The selected email will be moved to trash and deleted after the preset number of days. The sender will be added to your banned Addresses list and all subsequent emails from this sender will go into your trash folder.

Single Selections

After selecting multiple or single items you can also right click the list to select an action

Reading a Quarantined Email

Emails can be viewed by double clicking the email, this will enable the email to be read if you want to know its content.

From the view window you can read the email, however no attachments or pictures are shown. Various other options are available from the toolbar menu

Print

Print the email

Trash

The email is placed in the Trash

Allow

This button has two functions, its default action is to allow once or you can choose always allow from the black triangle menu.

Ban

The viewed email will be moved to trash and deleted after the preset number of days. The sender will be added to your banned Addresses list and all subsequent emails from this sender will go into your trash folder.

Close the email by clicking X to take no action.
